Firstly master tuning tools and slave tuning tools look almost the same, The main difference is that master tools read an open unencrypted file that can be edited whereas a slave tool reads a locked and coded file that the user cannot open or edit.

Tractor Tuning

Tractors require a lot of power and torque to perform, this comes at a cost to time and fuel, the time it takes to complete any task can only be determined by the speed that it is done in. Secondly fuel costs keep rising by the amount the engine requests under its desired RPM load. So there is 2 factors here, that if they could be changed, would definitely increase efficiency. 

Tractor engine tuning can change the ECU parameters that allow more power to be used than the manufacturer standard settings, enabling more power, torque and better fuel consumption.

Letting you get more work done in a shorter period of time whilst getting better fuel economy, basically you get more yield with less use.

Tractor remaps give better throttle response, a better drive, increased torque meaning less gear changes resulting in less wear and tear of the drivetrain.

Post ECU

One of the services we provide  to our customers is the option to post your ECU to us for tuning, where we will open the ECU and bench tune it. This service is an excellent asset to any tuner, whilst the tuner can upload most files via the OBD port, there are some exceptions to this, for example your particular tuning tool only allows for connection via bench, the tool shows an error whilst connecting, you receive only an ECU (no vehicle) from your customer to tune.

Some ECU’s are manufacturer locked known as anti tune ECU’s, for example PCR 2.1, EDC17, MED17, MEV17 plus many others. In this situation bench tuning is the the only solution available to most people.

This service is available to all tuners, from the UK, Europe and Worldwide. We offer bench tuning for cars, vans, trucks, tractors, and agricultural vehicles. Options available are stage 1, DPF delete, EGR delete, Lambda delete, Adblue removal and many more.

File Writing Service

This is a service where by a tuning file map is written for a vehicle after an original file has been read from a vehicle using a tuning tool, this can either be read from the OBD port using KESS V2, New Genius etc. or by bench using KTAG, TRASDATA etc. 

After this reading process the file is sent to the file writer by email where he modifies the files data parameters including throttle injection, fuel injection quantity, fuel rail pressure, turbo pressure, torque limiter and many others.

This service has a downside of a waiting time which usually is about an hour, but has the benefit of a custom file specially for the tuners exact vehicle requirements, with added options usually available. 

As it is almost impossible to have every single vehicle on a database with every single option pre modified, this is a service that is necessary to serve tuning professionals and workshops across the world. 


Basically a database is an organised collection of data which is stored and accessed from a computer electronically. This of course means that since it is automated it is available at all times.

The database we are referring to here is a car ECU tuning file collection. Depending on the number of files stored on the database, this is a huge advantage to tuners all across the world as they will have access to tuning files whenever they require, all only a few clicks away.

As this database is available at any time of the day or night depending on the location of the tuner, this is an excellent advantage as they are not limited to working hours. This setup allows tuning professionals more time to work other aspects of tuning. With the added bonus of no waiting times the files are downloadable instantly, so there is no need to wait for a file writer to make the file and return back to the tuner, this usually takes up to an hour. 

Meaning more time to attend to other tasks and not being tied up waiting for a response.



Diagnostic Trouble Codes are faults stored in vehicle ECU’s which may cause the vehicle to go into limp mode which limits the vehicle RPM and speed. 

When performance modifying a vehicle, often components are removed to increase better airflow resulting in an increase in power and BHP, but this usually causes DTC’s and need to be deleted. This is where a DTC delete remap is the only solution to keep the car running at its best performance with component removal mods.

Similarly an airbag light might be illuminated even after the fault has been fixed, a DTC delete can fix the issue, this solution can be used for most dash warning lights.

Stage 1 Remap

A Stage 1 remap is a software upgrade custom made for your vehicle that adjusts parameters in such a way to increase BHP, Torque and increase fuel economy. These maps are designed to work with a standard or slightly modified vehicles. These maps give a better drive to the vehicle with increased power and performance.

A stage 1 tuned vehicle has a better throttle response and more control over acceleration giving a better drive with a strong pull, many customers say their vehicle feels like new again after a stage 1 remap. 

Original Stock Files

Before writing any files, an original file should always be saved in case of any problems that may require the vehicle to be put back to stock.

These files are useful when there is an error in reading, writing or with the file itself. For example a tuner is writing a file onto a vehicle and his tuning tool crashes, after which the vehicle doesn’t start, the only option is to put the vehicle back to stock and start again. 

Whenever reading or writing a file ALWAYS use a battery support unit in case of power loss, and ALWAYS save the original file before writing a modified file back to the vehicle. 

Other cases where ORIGINAL files are required are for corrupted ECU’s, cloning ECU’s, water damage and many other reasons.

What is a Diesel Particulate Filter ?

Diesel particulate filters (DPF) are devices that capture diesel particulates to prevent their release into the atmosphere. Diesel particulate filter materials have been developed that show impressive filtration efficiencies, in excess of 90%, as well as good mechanical and thermal durability. Diesel particulate filters have become the most effective technology for the control of diesel particulate emissions including particle mass and numbers, known to be very efficient.

How Diesel Particulate Filters Work ?

As with any filter, they filter / trap particles, in this case harmful diesel exhaust soot particles, so they have to be emptied regularly to maintain performance. The DPF needs to be cleaned regularly, through a process called regeneration, either active, passive or forced regeneration, the accumulated soot is burnt off at high temperature (around 600°c) to leave only a residue of ash, effectively renewing or regenerating the filter, ready to take on more pollution from the engine.

DPF Removal

Removing the DPF from a vehicle can offer substantial increase in both performance and efficiency, but to make this work there needs to be mechanical removal of the DPF and a software update to the ECU ( a tuning file )

The benefits of DPF Removal are numerous, here we will mention a few, no more expensive DPF Filter replacement costs,  no more limp modes when the vehicle carries out a forced regeneration process, improved MPG and improved  power output of the vehicle.


What is an EGR Valve ?

It is an item found in modern diesel vehicles, also known as an Exhaust Gas Recirculation valve (EGR), it controls Nitrous Oxide (NOX) emissions produced by the engines combustion process, the EGR valve controls exhaust gas flow recirculation.

EGR Valve Removal 

The benefits of EGR Valve removal are  lowered engine temperature, improvement in throttle response, better fuel economy, reduced oil contamination and a reduction in carbon deposits that can over time clog the engine.

02 Sensor / Lambda

What is an 02 / Sensor Lambda

An O2 sensor or lambda sensor also known as an oxygen sensor. It is one of the most important elements of petrol and diesel vehicles a very important aspect of vehicle emissions. The main purpose of the oxygen sensor is to monitor how much unburned oxygen deposits in the exhaust stream of the vehicle as the exhaust gas leaves the engine. It checks if the catalytic converter (CAT) works properly and the engine is running at optimum performance.

Oxygen sensors are connected to the vehicle’s ECU (electronic control unit). That way, if the oxygen levels are high or low, the lambda sensors signals the computer and the check engine light (engine management light) is displayed on the vehicles dashboard.

The amount and location of oxygen sensors vary from vehicle to vehicle, dependent on number of exhausts, power of vehicles, engine layout etc. The main aim to get two readings, one is upstream and the other is downstream, the upstream oxygen sensor is located on the exhaust pipe, while the downstream sensor is closer to the catalytic converter. The main idea is  for the ECU to receive more detailed information and calibrate the engine for better fuel efficiency and performance.

02 Sensor / Lambda Removal

The reason for removal is faulty or degraded oxygen sensors as they become immersed with sulfur, lead, fuel additives, and oil ash causing failure. This component works under high temperature which damages the heater element, when oxygen sensors fail, they stop reading the exhaust gasses correctly. This can super-heat the converter far above normal operating conditions and lead to a meltdown of the catalytic converter. But the replacement of an oxygen sensor or converter is extremely expensive.

After a software delete the sensor will be removed from the ECU’s memory (programming) and it can also also be physically removed. Oxygen sensor removal / delete is an important tuning solution for vehicle engines. After 02 / lambda disable remapping vehicles improve fuel efficiency and fuel economy, increased engine power / performance and cleaner emissions. Check engine lights and fault codes become permanently deleted, no more limp mode.
